I was inspired to draw this for the fourth of July 2020. This year has been a rough year for America (for the world for that matter), and I've been having a feeling that our Forefathers have been under attack like never before. . I know men like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were flawed ( I know like nearly every other landowner on the planet at the time they participated in the sin of slavery) and at times we’ve made the mistake of elevating them to near divinities (and that is wrong too); but none of that gives us the right to dishonor them. They are the fathers of our nation... and if there is a privilege that we’re born with, it’s that we Americans, regardless of our color, are born free, and that is what forefathers fought a revolution and a civil war for.
